A few days ago the Board of Directors of Detegasa, together with its General Manager, met with Pablo López, Director of Navantia´s factory in Puerto Real, Cádiz.
During the visit the Board had the opportunity to visit the Historial Museum “El Dique” in Puerto Real. This museum, inaugurated in 1998 was later declared “Cultural Heritage” by the Junta of Andalucía, allowing visitors and locals alike to value the history of the Navy in the Bay of Cádiz since the 19th Century. Built on the ruins of the Castle of Matagorda, it could not be a better location as this ancient fort (together with the Castle of San Lorenzo del Puntal and the fort of San Luis) was initially built to protect the Bay from foreign invasions between the 17th and the 19Th Century.
The object of the visit was to discuss joint projects between both companies. Detegasa has a long history of cooperation with Navantia.
With the products and services supplied Detegasa always aims to achieve Navantia´s maximum satisfaction.
