Detegasa was present during the successful delivery of the BAP Carrasco from Freire Shipyard to the Peruvian Navy last week in Vigo, Spain.
The BAP Carrasco is a Polar Oceanographic Research Vessel which aims to sail within the Peruvian territory and the Peruvian Antartic Base “Machupichu” to carry out scientific research.
The vessel is equipped with a Helicopter Refueling System customized by Detegasa for the supply of JP5 fuel to Navy Aircrafts.
Detegasa has also supplied a complete Sewage Treatment System with vacuum pumps and toilets of suitable capacity for 110 people.
Additionally, the vessel counts with a third equipment of Detegasa which is a sludge and solids incinerator for the waste treatment on board.
